Are your products tested on animals?
Our products are vegan & cruelty-free. Never tested on animals!
Are your products good for sensitive skin?
Our products are made with natural ingredients that are good for people with sensitive skin. Many people with eczema use our products.
Do your products have a strong scent?
Our products have “just right” pleasing scents that even people with sensitive noses can enjoy.
Are your products safe for children?
Our products are safe for the whole family.
Will your products stain my shower or tub?
They will not stain your shower or tub since they do not contain dyes. The color is from minerals.
Do your products contain fragrance?
Our products contain phthalate-free fragrances and/or essential oils. We are approved in natural & organic stores.
What kind of colors and fragrances do you use?
We use mica mineral colors and phthalate-free fragrance and/or essential oils in our products.
Are your products safe to use around pets?
Our products are generally safe to use around your cats and dogs. We always recommend checking with your vet if you have any concerns.
Can I use your products if I’m pregnant?
We always recommend checking with your doctor if you have any concerns about ingredients. We have many pregnant customers that use our soaps.
If I buy now, will your products last until Christmas?
Our products will stay good if you store in cool, dry, dark place such as a closet.
How long do your products stay good?
Our products will stay good for up to 2 years if stored properly.
Do your products have an expiration date?
Our products do not have an expiration date printed on them.
Do you make all your products?
We make all our products except for our Turkish towels and bath accessories.

Are your products handmade?
All our products are handmade except for our bath accessories.
Are your soaps, bath bombs and balms good for any type of skin?
Generally, our products are good for all skin types. Our products contain healing ingredients.
What products would help me fall asleep better or wake me up?
Any of our products with lavender, vanilla, honeysuckle and other florals are calming and can help with sleep. Any of our products with peppermint, eucalyptus, pine, and fruit scents are uplifting and can help with energy.
What product will help with my dry skin?
All our products help moisturize and keep your skin hydrated. Our products with coconut oil, coconut milk, aloe, glycerin and oats are especially soothing.
Will your bath products irritate me “down there”?
Generally, our bath products don’t cause problems with a woman’s balance. Our products are natural and don’t include any harsh ingredients.
Are your products individually wrapped?
Our products are individually wrapped to maintain freshness since they are natural and made with food grade ingredients.
Why do you use plastic to wrap your products?
Our products are wrapped in cello bags to preserve freshness just like Kind bars or any natural food item. This also eliminates the need for preservatives.
Do you sell your product wholesale to other stores?
We sell our products to retailers and pharmacies across the country. Our products are found mostly in natural and organic retailers.

Soap Questions
Are your soaps good for eczema and super dry skin?
We have many customers with eczema who swear by our soaps. Our soaps are cleansing, don’t strip your skin and contain many healing hydrating ingredients.
How long does your soap last?
Our customers use the word “forever” when referring to how long our soaps last. They have a soft creamy and don’t mush up.
Can I use your soap to shave?
Our soaps are great for shaving. We have guys that shave their heads with our soap since the lather is soft and creamy.
Is your soap safe for my face?
Our soaps are very gentle and made to use for face and body.
What’s the main ingredient in your soaps?
Our soaps are made with olive oil which is highly effective in aiding many skin issues. They also include coconut oil which also has many healings skin benefits.
Do all your soaps have the same ingredients?
All our soaps are made with our same formula base which is organic olive oil, coconut oil and sustainable palm oil.
What does SLS mean?
SLS is short for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which is a harsh detergent that strips your skin of its natural oils. SLS is in many soaps and foaming products and causes dry skin and other irritations.
Can I use your soaps to wash my hair?
Our soaps can be used to wash your hair since they are gentle and rinse clean.
Do you use animal fats in your soaps?
We make our soaps with plant-based ingredients. We do have two soaps - ‘Nilla Buttermilk and Citrus Buzz - that contain cow’s milk and honey, respectively.
Bath Bomb Questions
What is a bath bomb?
A bath bomb is a mixture of citric acid and baking soda that fizzes and dissolves when activated by water. Our bath bombs also contain other natural healing ingredients including coconut oil and Epsom salts.
How many baths do I get from one bath bomb?
Bath bombs are made to be used for one bath.
What’s the difference between bath salts and a bath bomb?
Bath salts can be used for more than one bath while bath bombs are made for one bath. Both contain healing ingredients and offer a different experience in the tub.
Do your bath bombs have rings or toys in them?
No, our bath bombs do not have any rings or toys in them.
Will your bath bombs turn my bath water a color?
No, our bath bombs are made with natural mineral colors, not dyes.
Will your bath bombs stain me, my tub or my towels?
No, our bath bombs are not made with dyes.
Can I use a Bath Bomb as a Shower Steamer?
Just like we don’t recommend using our shower steamers as a bath bomb, we don’t recommend using our bath bombs in the shower. Our bath bombs contain coconut oil that might make your shower slippery.
Shower Steamer Questions
What is a shower steamer?
It’s a bath bomb for your shower so you can have a spa experience while taking a shower.
What are shower steamers good for?
A shower steamer is a great way to get an aromatherapy experience while taking a shower. Our shower steamers are mentholated, so you also get a menthol vapor experience to help you breathe.
How do you use a Shower Steamer?
Get wet to activate and place on shower floor out of the direct stream of water. You’ll know it’s working when you feel the menthol vapor open up your breathing and the scent fills the air. After you’re done with your shower, you can either leave it on the shower floor for next time or pick it up and place in the corner or on shower shelf.
Where do I place my shower steamer in the shower?
Place the shower steamer on your shower floor away from the direct stream of water. Or you can use one of our mesh bags to hang from a hook in your shower.
How many showers do I get from my shower steamer?
Generally, you can get 1-3 showers if you keep it out of the direct stream of water.
Will the shower steamer stain my shower or make it slippery?
No, it does not contain dyes and unlike our bath bombs, they do not contain any oils or other skin or muscle-soothing ingredients. And since no oils, your shower will not get slippery.
I used one of your shower steamers and I didn’t smell anything, why not?
Did you get it wet to activate? Did you find a good spot to place it near you in the shower?
I tried a shower steamer once and it didn’t do anything. How are yours different?
We hear often that customers previously purchased shower steamers from Amazon or elsewhere and they didn’t do anything. They rave about how ours are so much better! Our shower steamers fill the shower with scent and the menthol helps you breathe.
Do they come with a mesh bag?
No, the mesh bag is sold separately.
Can I use a Shower Steamer for a bath?
Our shower steamers are not bath bombs. They are made for the shower. Soaking in menthol can make you feel cold plus they don’t include all the healing ingredients of our bath bombs.
What’s the difference between a bath bomb and shower steamer?
Our bath bombs are full of healing ingredients for skin, muscles, and joints while our shower steamers are made for aromatherapy with menthol vapor breathing treatment.
Is a Shower Steamer the same as a Shower Bomb?
Yes, shower steamer is another name for shower bomb.
Bubble Bath Scoop Questions
How do I use a Bubble Bath Scoop?
Break off 1/3 to 1/2 scoop and crumble under the running water as you’re filling the tub to activate the bubbles.
I used one of your Bubble Bath Scoops and I didn’t get any bubbles, why not?
Our Bubble Bath Scoops are not bath bombs. They need to be crumbled under the running water to produce bubbles. If it’s just plunked in the tub like a bath bomb you will not get all the bubbles.
How many baths do I get from a Bubble Bath Scoop?
You can get 1-3 baths from each Bubble Bath Scoop. Start crumbling a third under the running water and use more if you want more bubbles.
Do your Bubble Bath Scoops safe for sensitive skin and children?
Our bubbles are made from a coconut-derived ingredient and are gentle for sensitive skin and children.
Bath Accessory Questions
Do you make the bath accessories you sell?
No, we don’t make the bath accessories, but we love how they add to your bathing experience. They are made in China from natural fibers.
What is a Turkish Towel?
It is a large bath towel that is thin like a dish towel and very absorbent. It dries quickly and is great for the beach, pool, picnic, dog, and more.
Do the Turkish towels come from Turkey?
Our Turkish towels are hand-loomed in Turkey.
What is a Turkish towel made from?
Our Turkish towels are made from cotton.
Do I have to wash the Turkish towel in any special way?
To wash the Turkish towels, just throw them in the washer and dryer with your other colored clothes. No special washing is needed.
What is sisal? Is it natural?
Sisal is a natural fiber that is often used in making rugs/carpets. It is strong and mold/mildew resistant.
How do I use a soap pouch, does the soap go in there?
Place soap in the soap pouch, get it wet, and lather up. It makes for a great way to cleanse and exfoliate.
Can I reuse a soap pouch after the soap is gone?
Yes, rinse it out, add your soap, and start again.
Soy Candle Questions
What kind of wicks do you use?
Our soy candles are made with cotton wicks.
What kind of fragrance do you use?
Our soy candles are made with phthalate-free fragrances. We sell them to natural and organic retailers
Can I use the glass jar after it's done burning?
Our soy candles are poured into a US-made beverage glass. After your candle is done, you can easily clean it out and start drinking your favorite beverage.

As of March 2024, We don't use PayPal for payment.

You can use all major credit cards to pay for your order.
Do you accept checks?
We do not accept checks for payment.
Do I need to create an account to be able to buy from your store?
You can check out as a guest but setting up an account allows you to start earning Rewards that can be redeemed for discounts, gifts, and free shipping.

How long does it take to receive my products after I order?
We like to get your order out the door quickly so you can enjoy your goodies! Depending where you’re located, your order should take approximately 3-8 days to reach you.
Do you ship international?
We can ship international orders. Please email us at: info@joyfulbathco.com to let us know what you’d like to order and the address for where your order is going. We will then get back to you with the cost. Once you approve, we will send you an invoice for your order.
